Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks and containers, maximize capacity, and promote efficient, courteous service to customers. The role emphasizes safety, route optimization and data-driven decisions to improve productivity and service levels across daily operations.

The analyst will analyze routing data, respond to same-day changes, and work with drivers to resolve issues while maintaining close communication with the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Two years of prior Dispatcher or similar leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks and containers to maximize capacity and productivity.
• Analyze daily routing data to improve route efficiency and accuracy using the routing platform.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery, respond to service changes and missed pickups.
• Monitor driver performance, safety, and asset security; communicate with drivers regularly.
• Identify swing routes, optimize disposal sites, and update plans with Operations Manager as needed.
• Prepare routes with loads per driver per day to maximize profitability and service quality.
• Support safety, customer experience and productivity goals through data-driven decisions.
