Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Supervisor to support the Service Department and help manage district routes. You will report to the District Manager and play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and driving route performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a professional image and adherence to safety policies. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or similar experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English; ability to understand and follow directions and manage time effectively.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License and be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a district to be a highly productive team through training, meetings, daily check-ins, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist the District Manager to ensure customer loyalty and outstanding service through visits, audits, installs, problem solving, and clear communication with customers.
• Lead the district by communicating changes, evaluating route organization, presenting a professional image, and coordinating with other departments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety/SOP procedures; evaluate service procedures and make recommendations.
• Safely operate company vehicles and complete general route responsibilities as needed.
• Support retention and growth activities, including sales, promotions, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Perform duties of a RSR at a higher level and evaluate route performance; cover Route Relief/Utility RSR as needed.
• When running a route, upsell and cross-sell lines of service, monitor competitive activity, and keep service agreements current.
