Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a supervisor to oversee a team of route supervisors and drivers in the Columbus area. This role ensures trained personnel, efficient daily routing, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include dispatching daily assignments, monitoring performance, and guiding employees to improve service quality while managing overtime and attendance. A Class B CDL and DOT medical card are required, with flexibility for weekends and travel as

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Proven customer service skills and ability to read maps.
Ability to work independently, make decisions, and resolve problems.
Flexible schedules including weekends/holidays; respond to operational issues by phone.

Manage daily activities of route supervisors and drivers.
Train and direct employees to improve performance; dispatch daily assignments.
Monitor safety/quality standards; ensure compliance goals are met.
