Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Kentucky is seeking Delivery Truck Drivers to deliver waste and recycling carts to customers. You will operate a truck safely, abide by regulations, and provide courteous service.

This role requires 1–2 years of driving a large vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a DOT medical card. The job includes lifting up to 75 lbs and working flexible hours, nights and weekends as needed. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of previous experience driving a large company van or truck, preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to read and understand a map or GPS.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and safely perform duties in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Maintain and update work orders.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and customers to provide excellent service.
• Assist in other projects or areas as needed.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
