Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking Delivery Truck Drivers to safely deliver and remove waste/recycling carts and bins for customers. You must operate the truck, document deliveries, and maintain accurate work orders while providing courteous service.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, interacting with customers, and willingness to assist in other projects. Must have valid DOT medical card, be 19+, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map/GPS.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to use small power tools for basic repairs on containers.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and safely perform job duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Maintain and update work orders.
• Professionally interact with co-workers and customers, providing excellent service.
• Assist in other projects or areas as needed.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
