Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate our waste and recycling fleet, delivering carts and bins to customers and vendors. You will complete documentation and follow routes while providing courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include strong driving skills, map/GPS literacy, ability to perform inspections, and excellent communication with customers and team members. This position may require flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map/GPS.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and perform duties in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and logs.
• Maintain and update work orders and routes.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers to ensure service quality.
• Assist in other projects or areas as needed.
• Operate other trucks when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
