Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling delivers and removes waste and recycling carts to customers, operating trucks safely and complying with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map/GPS.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to use small power tools for basic repairs on containers.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck and safely perform duties in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers and vendors.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Maintain and update work orders.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and customers, providing excellent service.
• Assist in other projects or areas as needed.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
