Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver to safely deliver and remove waste/recycling carts to customers. You will operate the vehicle, ensure compliance with regulations, and interact with customers professionally.

The role requires 1–2 years of driving experience, a valid license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Competitive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand a map/GPS.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to use small power tools for basic repairs on containers.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver waste and recycling carts and bins to customers.
• Operate a truck and perform duties safely per regulations.
• Complete proper documentation on deliveries and removals.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log results.
• Maintain and update work orders.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and co-workers.
• Assist in other projects or areas as needed.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
