Job summary

UniFirst is hiring a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will become proficient on multiple routes, deliver garments and products, and ensure timely service with a strong customer focus.

You will handle invoices, inventory audits, and vehicle safety while following all safety policies. This role emphasizes reliability, adaptability, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, 21+ with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect used garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and strengthen customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory checks, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to ensure safety.
