Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload clean garments and products to customers along established routes, ensuring timely, high-quality service and accurate returns.

You will also uphold safety, assist with invoices and inventory, and stay adaptable across multiple routes in a fast-paced environment. A clean driving record and DOT awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be at least 21.
• Ability to understand DOT requirements and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; military service acceptable.
• Strong customer service skills and independence.
• Experience in driving, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfort with using new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and problem-solve to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage invoices, conduct basic inventory audits, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety.
