Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, safely deliver clean garments and products, and ensure timely service while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Driver’s License & Safe Driving Record: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT Compliance: Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including a physical exam.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset and providing excellent customer service.
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery, roles is a plus!
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using and learning new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs., with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop Proficiency Across Multiple Routes and cover delivery routes when RSRs are unavailable.
• Deliver Garments and Product to Customers along established routes and collect/return used garments.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service through positive interactions and clear communication.
• Resolve customer requests independently and maintain customer loyalty.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety/appearance.
• Follow all safety standards and DOT requirements to ensure welfare of self and customers.
• Support new account installations and rerouting efforts with Service and Management Teams.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local market activity.
