Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in and cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, safely load and deliver garments, and maintain excellent customer service on each visit.

This role emphasizes independence with strong collaboration with location teams. The position requires a valid driver's license, DOT compliance, and physical stamina to handle up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs. and staying on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service to maintain strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests using problem-solving skills.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws and safety standards to ensure safety for all.
