Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Sales Development Program Consultant in Michigan/NE Ohio. This 12-month rotational training program trains you in door hardware and security solutions while preparing you for a full-time sales role.

You will rotate through product and industry training in Denver, then corporate-sponsored rotations and field rotations across Allegion's sales teams, gaining hands-on experience and building relationships with customers and decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or Marketing preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Detail oriented with a high level of organization and time management.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; influencing skills essential with bias for action.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Fully engage in SDP training to learn Allegion customers, products and processes.
• Participate in a 3-month product and industry training module at our Denver, CO facility; housing and transportation provided.
• Participate in a 2-month rotation with corporate sponsors and complete assigned projects.
• Participate in a 7-month field training rotation with Allegion’s field selling teams, coordinating joint sales calls and attending local tradeshows.
• Attend factory and product training to deepen product knowledge and build internal relationships.
• Learn Allegion tools/resources (CRM, Overtur, PowerBI) to gather and maintain information on projects.
