Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd. in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer to manage rotating equipment at our plant.

The role focuses on reliability, performance, and technical support across steam turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and plant auxiliaries. You will collaborate with multiple departments, lead outage planning, and participate in Root Cause Analysis to drive corrective actions and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years' steam power plant operations experience.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; experience with PI, AutoCAD, Maximo, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to other departments on processes, procedures, repairs, and projects.
• Assist in development of projects and evaluation of proposals for material supply and installation.
• Assist and lead project execution to maintain budget and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate contractors in the execution of testing and maintenance.
• Read and interpret Blueprints, Technical drawings, Schematics, and reports.
• Maintain backlog of assigned Work Orders.
