Job summary

Baker Hughes, in partnership with Cordant, seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to deliver complete service solutions for rotating machinery health. You will assess machinery condition, provide on-site support, and develop trusted advisory relationships with customers.

Role requires extensive travel (up to 70%), willingness to work offshore occasionally, and a strong background in vibration analysis, balancing, and rotor dynamics. A valid driver’s license and passport are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and work offshore occasionally.
• TWIC eligibility and valid driver's license & passport.
• Experience with vibration analysis and interpretation of rotor dynamics.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and communicate technically with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems using vibration and operational data.
• Travel to customer sites to provide on-site support.
• Prepare timely reports with findings and recommendations.
• Build long-term relationships with customers for service excellence.
• Compute balancing weights and oversee installation.
• Follow HS&E standards and procedures.
