Job summary

Baker Hughes Cordant team is hiring a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support customers with rotating machinery diagnostics and vibration data interpretation. You will perform rotordynamic analysis, troubleshoot critical equipment issues, and protect asset health on site across oil & gas and process industries.

Expect extensive travel, hands-on diagnostic work, and opportunities to mentor junior engineers in a dynamic environment with strong safety discipline and customer focus.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% and work overtime, with passport and TWIC eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for machinery diagnostics and rotating equipment analysis.
  • Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
  • Offer expertise in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and reliability solutions.
  • Mentor field service engineers and support outages and turnarounds.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify business opportunities and ensure HSE compliance.
  • Prepare reports documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Build trusted customer relationships through high-quality service.
