Job summary

Baker Hughes’ Cordant team seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support customers with diagnostics, vibration analysis, and on-site technical service. You will diagnose machinery conditions, perform rotordynamic analysis, and help protect asset reliability across oil & gas, chemicals, and power generation sectors.

This hands-on role involves extensive travel (up to 70%), overtime, mentoring field service engineers, and collaborating with commercial and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Travel up to 70% and valid passport.
• TWIC credential eligibility.
• Eligibility to travel overseas and offshore work.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for field service diagnostics and vibration analysis.
• Provide technical support and root cause analysis for turbines, compressors, pumps.
• Provide expertise in vibration analysis and reliability solutions.
• Mentor field service engineers.
• Support outages and maintenance events.
• Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to identify opportunities.
• Promote HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Prepare reports documenting findings.
• Build trusted customer relationships.
