Job summary

Baker Hughes Cordant division is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support customers with diagnostics, vibration data interpretation, and onsite technical service. You will evaluate machinery conditions and help protect asset reliability.

The role involves extensive travel, field diagnostics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years of industry experience are required, with offshore work and TWIC eligibility a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • At least two years of industry experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% and offshore work occasionally.
  • Valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain them.
  • TWIC eligibility and offshore travel readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for field diagnostics of rotating equipment and vibration analysis.
  • Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
  • Offer expertise in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and reliability solutions.
  • Mentor and support field service engineers.
  • Assist outages, turnarounds, startups and maintenance events.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices.
  • Prepare timely reports documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Build trusted customer relationships through high-quality service.
