Job summary

Baker Hughes, Cordant team, seeks a Rotating Equipment Engineer to perform vibration analysis, diagnostics, and field service at customer sites. You will evaluate turbine and rotating equipment conditions, diagnose issues, and document findings to support asset reliability.

Travel up to 70% with overtime opportunities and hands-on balancing and commissioning work. You will mentor field service engineers, support outages and turnarounds, and collaborate with commercial and engineering teams while

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • At least two years of industry experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% for field work.
  • Valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to conduct diagnostics and field service on rotating equipment.
  • Provide advanced technical support and root cause analysis for turbines, compressors, pumps, generators, etc.
  • Provide expertise in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and reliability solutions.
  • Mentor and support the development of field service engineers.
  • Support outages, turnarounds, startups, and maintenance events.
  • Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to identify opportunities and ensure HSE compliance.
