Job summary

Acuren is seeking an intermediate Rope Access Level II technician to perform high-level rope access work and inspections. You will plan systems, maintain gear, and report safety concerns while coordinating with cross-functional teams on challenging projects.

Requirements include SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification (or ability to obtain), significant IRATA/SPRAT hours, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Travelling and overtime are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1000 IRATA hours or 500 SPRAT hours within 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights following IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for varying scenarios.
• Maintain equipment and report safety concerns promptly.
• Document inspections and results with detailed reports.
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate hazards.
