Job summary

Acuren is seeking Rope Access Technicians to support operations in New Castle, DE. This intermediate-level role performs Rope Access Level II duties safely and efficiently under the direction of a Level III Technician.

This position is a callout/travel role with responsibilities across inspection and rigging tasks. Mandatory qualifications include Level 2 SPRAT/IRATA certification or equivalent, strong safety knowledge, and ability to travel regularly including overnight.

Qualifications

• SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 rope access certification or ability to obtain
• Minimum 1000 documented hours in 12 months for IRATA or 500 for SPRAT
• High school diploma or equivalent education required

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights using established rope access techniques and systems while ensuring compliance with IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios
• Maintain rope access equipment and report safety concerns
• Demonstrate skills of a Rope Access Technician Level 2
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision of Level 3 Technician
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined trades and communicate hazards to Level III Technician
