Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks a qualified Rope Access Technician – Level II (IRATA / SPRAT) capable of working independently and mentoring Level I technicians. You will rig, inspect, and modify rope access systems, and perform complex tasks under Level III oversight.

Candidate should have 1–3+ years rope access, strong trade skills, and the required Level II certifications. The role involves long hours and on-site assignments in hazardous environments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• IRATA Level II or SPRAT Level II certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with rope access and at-height tasks is required.
• NDT certs or related skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rig, inspect, and modify rope access systems.
• Perform advanced work-at-height tasks independently.
• Supervise and mentor Level I technicians.
• Assist with rescue planning and job setup/teardown.
• Execute self-rescue and assist in team rescues.
• Identify hazards and stop unsafe work.
