Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking qualified Rope Access Inspectors to support field operations with NDE and API inspections in elevated or confined areas.

Dual-certified in SPRAT or IRATA and inspection methods, you will work with site leads and integrity teams to deliver code-compliant results. This role requires travel regionally or nationally, a safety-first mindset, and precise documentation using digital reporting tools.

Qualifications

• SPRAT or IRATA Certification (Level I or II depending on role scope) is required.
• 1–3 years of experience performing inspections in refining, petrochemical, or energy environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, inspection terminology, and field safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at height using rope access techniques in accordance with SPRAT or IRATA certification standards.
• Conduct NDT and/or API inspections on pressure vessels, piping, tanks, or structural components based on certifications held.
• Assist with installation of access systems, job rig-ups, and hazard assessments at client sites.
• Accurately document findings using digital tools, inspection forms, and standardized reporting formats.
• Interface with engineers, planners, and client representatives to clarify inspection scope and communicate results.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, codes, and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, site-specific).
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning, and safety audits as required.
• Maintain all rope access and inspection gear in safe, working order and track certifications.
• Assist in equipment transfers, mobilizations, and worksite setup/teardown for access operations.
