Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking qualified Rope Access Inspectors to support field operations with NDE and API inspections in elevated or confined areas.

Ideal candidates hold SPRAT or IRATA certification and are comfortable working with engineers and integrity teams to deliver code-compliant results. Responsibilities include inspecting at height, documenting findings, assisting with access systems, and ensuring safety compliance on client sites across refinery and petrochemical environments.

Qualifications

• SPRAT or IRATA Level I/II certification required.
• 1–3 years of inspection experience in refining, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
• Ability to travel regionally or nationally and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at height using rope access techniques per SPRAT/IRATA standards.
• Conduct NDT and/or API inspections on vessels, piping, tanks or structural components as certified.
• Assist with installation of access systems, rigging, and hazard assessments on client sites.
• Document findings using digital tools and standardized reporting formats.
• Interface with engineers and client representatives to confirm scope and communicate results.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, codes, and safety protocols (OSHA and site rules).
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-job planning, and safety audits as required.
• Maintain rope access and inspection gear in safe working order and track certifications.
