Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Rope Access Inspectors to support field operations, focusing on non-destructive examination (NDE), API inspections, or advanced inspection techniques in elevated or confined spaces.

Dual SPRAT/IRATA certification and strong safety focus are preferred for this role in Hammond, IN and surrounding regions. Responsibilities include performing rope-access inspections at height, documenting findings with digital tools, and coordinating with engineers

Qualifications

• SPRAT or IRATA certification, Level I or II depending on role scope.
• 1-3 years of experience performing inspections in refining, petrochemical, or energy environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, inspection terminology, and field safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections at height using rope access techniques per SPRAT/IRATA standards.
• Conduct NDE and/or API inspections on pressure vessels, piping, tanks, or structural components.
• Assist with installation of access systems, job rig-ups, and hazard assessments at client sites.
• Document findings using digital tools and standardized reporting formats.
