Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate is offering a one-year Leader In Development (LID) program designed to develop entry-level candidates into hotel management. The program rotates through Housekeeping and Rooms Division, with time in other departments and potential relocation upon completion.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Hospitality Management.
• High propensity for customer service.
• Previous cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk, guest services, reservations and housekeeping functions; complete LID learning contracts and progress reports.
• Complete LID learning contracts; schedule appointments with contract resources and complete monthly LID progress report.
• Be familiar with housekeeping systems and equipment; include daily reports and PDQ standards.
• Execute room inspections according to standards.
• Be familiar with all hotel rate plans and rate codes; understand rate strategy when changing guest rates.
• Assist with initial and continued training of all front office associates—conduct MOS audits and on-the-spot coaching as needed.
• Assist with shift coverage in the event of staff call-offs.
• Represent the Omni Brand and Culture; reinforce Power of One and Power of Engagement.
• Be actively engaged with guests and associates, demonstrating Power of One behaviors.
• Support a positive work environment of employee growth and interdepartmental teamwork and exceptional customer service.
• Be familiar with guest scenarios and follow-up on all guest requests and concerns, adhering to the service recovery process.
• To be thoroughly acquainted with all front desk procedures including check-in/check-out, cash handling, parking validation, folio adjustments, payment procedures, room blocking, AM/PM checklist.
• Maintain Four Diamond Standards of guest service.
