Job summary

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is launching a 12-month Rooms Leader in Development program to train graduates for managerial roles in Rooms. The role includes 40 hours of hands-on development plus 10 hours of Learning Commitments across the property, with weekly and monthly reviews by leadership.

Participants gain exposure to general hotel operations, staff management, payroll, and guest relations while working a 50-hour week with relocation potential after program completion.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree or higher is required, preferably in Hospitality Management.
• Previous Housekeeping or Rooms Division experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work 50 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
• Willingness to relocate upon completion of the program to ensure timely promotion to a management role.
• Previous hotel or related field experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Will learn and perform all aspects of Rooms operations.
• Oversees staff performance and takes corrective actions when necessary.
• Scheduling of staff and payroll records accuracy.
• Cleaning and inspecting guest rooms.
• Responds to guest requests and complaints as required.
• Monitors product inventory and orders supplies.
• Interviewing and selection of staff; follow-up on training steps.
• Handle guest comments and satisfaction; communicate with guests.
• Ensures housekeeping Front Office operations meet Omni Hotels standards.
• Meet with Division head weekly, Director of Human Resources monthly, and corporate mentor bi-monthly.
