Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa introduces a Rooms Division Manager-in-Training Program, a year-long post-graduate training designed to fast-track ambitious graduates into hospitality management.

Participants rotate through core Rooms & Lodging departments (Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry) and then step into a Floating Supervisor role for the final phase, aiming for a permanent supervisory or management position.

Qualifications

• Recent college graduates with a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership potential with a hospitality mindset.
• Ambition to pursue a long-term career in resort management.
• Culture fit: high energy, positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Laundry in months 1–9.
• Step into a Floating Supervisor role during months 10–12 to gain hands-on leadership experience.
