Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated ability to train and lead others
• Good guest service skills due to frequent contact with guests and staff
• Ability to make decisions and support management directions

Responsibilities

• Orientate and train all new housekeepers in the department
• Provide feedback to supervisors on new hires’ performance
• Monitor daily cleaning standards and quality assurance for rooms and linen areas
• Maintain safety by following OSHA standards and conducting monthly safety trainings
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure standards are met before front desk release
• Supervise and motivate Room Attendants and Housepersons on assigned shift
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in identifying training needs and improving departmental procedures
