Job summary

Hotel Northland, Autograph Collection, part of First Hospitality, seeks a Rooms Director to oversee front office, engineering, and housekeeping operations. You will hire, train, and retain a high-performing team while safeguarding guest satisfaction and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Proactively address guest concerns and ensure accessible amenities and services.
• Control purchasing to manage controllable expenses.
• Hire, train, and motivate an effective hotel team to meet guest expectations.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive environment by building relationships with hotel leaders.
• Lead the hotel team through personal example and uphold company culture.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk to ensure supplies and tools are available.
• Maintain professionalism in line with hotel brand and company expectations.
• Know and communicate hotel emergency procedures and assist guests during emergencies.
