Job summary

Hotel Northland, Autograph Collection, a First Hospitality property in Green Bay, seeks a Rooms Director to oversee front office, engineering, and housekeeping operations. You will hire, train, and retain a best-in-class team, address guest concerns, and uphold a diverse, inclusive culture across all hotel leaders.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel operations management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the ability to lead a high-performing team in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Proactively address guest concerns by ensuring appropriate amenities and service offerings.
• Control purchasing to manage expenses.
• Hire, train, and motivate an effective hotel team to deliver on guest expectations.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive environment for all guests and associates.
• Lead the hotel team by example and uphold company culture.
• Communicate with housekeeping and front desk to ensure supplies and tools are available.
• Listen to guests and address their concerns empathetically.
• Maintain professionalism aligned with brand and company expectations.
• Know and communicate hotel emergency procedures during emergencies.
