Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Director of Rooms to lead Guest Services, Uniformed Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Security and Reservations with a focus on guest satisfaction and revenue growth. The role emphasizes people leadership, SOP compliance, and cross‑department collaboration in a fast paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include maximizing room revenue, mentoring managers, and coordinating major projects while maintaining high standards of service and professional appearance

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years progressive hotel experience, or a 4-year degree with related experience.
• Previous management experience required.
• Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Guest Services, Uniformed Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Security and Reservations.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy through daily rate and count analysis.
• Recruit, coach and develop Rooms Division staff.
• Ensure SOP compliance and service standards throughout the division.
• Coordinate major renovations and capital projects when required.
• Lead Rooms Division meetings and monthly financial reviews.
