RCMI Hospitality Management is seeking a Rooms Controller to optimize daily room inventory and support revenue goals at Hyatt Place| Hyatt House LAX in Los Angeles, CA.

The role collaborates with front desk, housekeeping, and sales to ensure accurate room status and timely readiness. A strong focus on data analysis and dynamic pricing will help balance occupancy with guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily room inventory and allocation to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Assist with answering phone calls, guest inquiries, reservation requests, and directing calls to the appropriate department as needed.
• Assist the front desk, when needed.
• Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure accurate room status updates and timely room readiness.
• Monitor and analyze booking patterns and market trends to forecast demand and adjust room availability accordingly.
• Implement and maintain room control procedures to optimize room assignments and minimize overbooking or vacancies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to support promotional activities and special group bookings.
• Prepare regular reports on room occupancy, revenue performance, and forecast accuracy for management review.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to room assignments and guest accommodations promptly and professionally.
