Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Rooms Controller to manage daily room assignments, guest preferences, and front office support. You will connect Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure seamless guest experiences and timely room readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of front office or reservations experience in a hotel environment.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive responsibilities. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily room assignments for all guest arrivals, VIPs, special requests, and returning guests.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness.
• Pre-block VIP and special request rooms using arrival reports and group information.
• Review and resolve duplicate reservations, no-shows, and due-outs daily.
• Monitor and update Out-of-Order and Out-of-Service room statuses.
• Track and process amenity requests and ensure accurate billing.
