Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Room Service Department Trainer to support onboarding, hands-on training, and ongoing colleague development in our Florida property.

You will work with department leadership to ensure colleagues understand responsibilities and consistently meet service and operational standards, while fostering a patient, energetic learning environment and professional guest service.

Qualifications

• At least one year in hospitality.
• Training or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new colleagues and guide onboarding and training.
• Provide hands-on instruction on procedures, safety, and guest service expectations.
• Coach, observe, and give constructive feedback to reinforce standards.
• Coordinate training schedules with department leadership.
• Maintain training records and track progress.
• Identify training needs and communicate recommendations.
• Assist with refresher training and new procedures.
• Model professionalism and exceptional guest service.
• Support daily operations while reinforcing training expectations.
