Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Northeast Florida is seeking a Room Service Department Trainer to support onboarding, hands-on training, and ongoing colleague development. This role works closely with department leadership to ensure colleagues understand responsibilities and consistently meet service and operational standards.

The position requires hospitality experience and training or leadership experience, along with strong communication and the ability to adapt training to different learning

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience required; prior departmental training or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to explain procedures clearly and tailor training to different learning styles.
• Patient, approachable, energetic personality; capable of giving constructive feedback.

Responsabilités

• Welcome new colleagues and guide them through onboarding and training.
• Provide hands-on instruction on procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations.
• Demonstrate techniques and reinforce standards through coaching and observation.
• Coordinate training schedules with department leadership.
• Maintain training checklists and records of colleague progress.
• Identify training needs and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Assist with refresher training and introduction of new procedures or equipment.
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.
• Support daily department operations while enforcing training expectations.
