Loews Coral Gables Hotel seeks a friendly Room Service Order Taker to deliver memorable in-room dining experiences. You will guide guests through menus, upsell thoughtfully, and coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure flawless, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage terminology.

• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously per service standards.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately in the POS and confirm details with guests.
• Provide menu guidance, upsell, and highlight specials to elevate guest experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and room service attendants for timely delivery.
• Handle special requests, dietary needs, and additional amenities with care.
• Maintain organized logs of orders, calls, and special instructions.
• Assist with inventory tracking for menus, promotional materials, and supplies.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings; work varying schedules as needed.
