Job summary

Merck in West Point, PA is seeking an experienced Room Lead to supervise a team of Clinical Packaging Technicians within Global Clinical Supplies Operations. You will oversee packaging, labeling, material staging, documentation, and room clearance with safety and quality as priorities.

This 2nd shift on-site role requires GMP proficiency, SAP/MES familiarity, and coaching of new staff. Overtime may be required; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year GMP-regulated experience.
• Leadership to manage a packaging technician team.
• Strong communication skills and training ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee filling, labeling, and packaging activities.
• Ensure GMP/SOP compliance and safety for all tasks.
• Document transactions in SAP and GDP-aligned records.
• Coach and train new staff and work with cross-functional teams.
• Stage materials, set up and operate equipment, and maintain clean rooms.
