Job summary

HireLifeScience in West Point, PA is seeking an operations packaging operator to lead a team of Clinical Packaging Technicians in a GMP environment. You will manage room setup, execute packaging and labeling activities, and ensure documentation aligns with GDP standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in a GMP‑regulated setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to train staff while meeting safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of GMP-regulated experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Leadership to oversee daily operations for a packaging team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and mentor staff.
• Maintain vision qualification (20/20 vision) for inspection and GDP awareness.
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in SAP or other MES systems.
• Willingness to work a shift onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of filling, labelling, and packaging for clinical packaging jobs.
• Coordinate and document de-packaging, packaging, labelling and sampling activities.
• Ensure all tasks comply with GMP/SOPs, batch records, and safety requirements.
• Account for daily output and product quality in packaging of clinical studies.
• Report and prevent quality events or GMP/SOP non-conformances.
• Provide training to new employees and mentor technicians.
• Handle controlled substances according to SOP.
