Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Manager for Global Clinical Supplies Operations at our West Point, PA facility. You will lead packaging technicians, schedule shopfloor activities, and ensure compliant, on-time production across global sites.

Strong leadership, risk-based decision making, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and oversee documentation and QA interfaces to meet strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or technical field with 4+ years in pharma Ops/Quality
• Associate’s degree with 6+ years in Ops/Quality/Tech Ops/Engineering/maintenance
• High school diploma with 8+ years in Ops/Quality/Tech Ops/Engineering/maintenance

Responsibilities

• Directs packaging IPT activities with shopfloor presence and gowning.
• Coordinates and directs a team of clinical packaging technicians.
• Schedules personnel and maintenance needs for shopfloor execution.
• Ensures policy/procedure compliance with cGMPs and regulations.
• Hires and trains personnel; manages performance.
• Coaches team and provides feedback to service providers.
• Maintains technical process knowledge and documentation.
• Implements continuous improvement to reduce deviations and lead time.
• Reviews production orders, SOPs, and shopfloor docs.
• Supports quality risk assessment and QMS activities
