Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public spaces, and assist in the laundry area as required. You will ensure clean, safe, and welcoming environments for guests across our Nashville properties.

The role emphasizes adherence to Sonesta standards, reliable attendance, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and English fluency is important.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests, and take corrective action for satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas per standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, trash).
• Notify supervisor when service is completed to allow turnover.
• If in laundry, operate washers/dryers and manage linens and supplies.
• Minimize waste and assist with deep cleaning as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Handle lost and found items per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across shifts and departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
