Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to support the Housekeeping Management Team in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, including possible work in the laundry facility, in alignment with brand standards to ensure total guest satisfaction.

The role requires previous housekeeping experience and English fluency; candidates should be able to stand, bend, lift up to 75 pounds, and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Fluent English preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions per GUEST standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms or areas per established standards and procedures.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report rooms that cannot be serviced.
• Assist with laundry duties, monitor supplies, and operate washers/dryers according to guidelines.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities in housekeeping.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and communicate with other shifts to ensure quality service.
