Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and public spaces in alignment with brand standards. You will also work in the laundry area when assigned, ensuring rooms are ready for guests and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience and fluency in English, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Health insurance and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas to standard.
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, and sanitize bathrooms.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report any unserviceable rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties and manage linens as needed.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with shifts and management.
• Follow health and safety regulations and report hazards.
