Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to support housekeeping teams and maintain guest rooms and public spaces to Sonesta standards. You’ll participate in cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

This role requires reliability, the ability to stand for long periods, and availability mornings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; English fluency is helpful, and bilingual skills are a

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent English preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities preferred.
• Stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility regularly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests; ensure corrective action.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas to established standards (beds, bathrooms, etc.).
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report unserviceable rooms.
• Operate laundry equipment and manage linens per guidelines.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities in all areas.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Handle lost and found items per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across shifts.
