Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will clean guest rooms and public spaces, assist with laundry, and support the Housekeeping Management Team to ensure guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow safety procedures, and availability mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and English fluency is encouraged to maintain guest communications.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking preferred.
• Some housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions per G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure corrective actions for satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms and areas per standards, including bathrooms.
• Notify supervisor when service is completed and report unserviced rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties: monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, fold linens.
• Minimize waste and assist with deep cleaning as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with shifts and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
