Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a physically capable loader/unloader to handle roofing materials on-site at Melbourne, FL. You will load from trucks, distribute materials to rooftops, and work with drivers to ensure efficient operations with strict safety adherence.

The role requires good English communication, the ability to lift heavy items up to 100 lbs, and a willingness to pass background checks and drug screening. Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and operate related equipment safely.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Distribute materials onto flat and sloped roofs as per safety rules.
• Operate conveyor systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team members.
