Job summary

SRS Building Products, located in O'Fallon, IL, seeks a material handler to load and unload roofing materials, operate conveyors where certified, and ensure safe distribution of goods to rooftops. You will work with drivers and teammates to streamline loading processes and maintain accuracy of orders.

The role requires adherence to OSHA guidelines, physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a commitment to safety. English proficiency preferred; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Distribute materials onto rooftops following safety rules.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified.
• Verify and reconcile material orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional service to roofing contractors.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team members.
