Job summary

SRS Building Products, Melbourne location, is hiring for a rooftop material handler to load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks and distribute them safely onto roofs. You will operate conveyors where trained, verify orders, and assist roofing contractors while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to lift 100 lbs, and English communication proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Pass criminal and driving background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
• English verbal and written communication required; Spanish a plus.
• Safety awareness and PPE usage.
• Able to work Monday–Friday with potential for overtime.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Distribute materials onto roofs per safety guidelines.
• Operate conveyor belt systems where trained.
• Verify and reconcile material orders.
• Provide service to roofing contractors.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company protocols.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with drivers and team.
