Job summary

SRS Building Products - Melbourne in Melbourne, FL is hiring for a role focused on loading, unloading, transporting and positioning roofing materials at rooftop sites. You will work outdoors, follow OSHA guidelines, and collaborate with drivers to ensure efficient operations.

The job requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, operates on rooftops, and may include overtime based on delivery schedules. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, and pre-employment drug test.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required in all locations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods.
• Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
• Coordinate distribution of materials onto roofs according to safety policies.
