Job summary

Donohoe Hospitality Services is seeking a Line Cook for Croix Rooftop at the Cambria Hotel DC Navy Yard Riverfront. You will plan, prep, and set up production for all F&B outlets, following recipes and HACCP guidelines.

The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience, works well under pressure, and can contribute to menu development. Weekend availability is required, and hourly pay ranges from $23 to $25.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience is required.
• Previous kitchen experience.
• Experience in menu planning and development.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, and set up production for all F&B outlets.
• Ensure all production equipment is working and report problems.
• Refer guest problems to the Executive Chef.
• Prepare and arrange food according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain HACCP procedures and cleanliness.
• Coordinate kitchen activities for efficient service.
• Train staff as directed.
• Requisition food from storeroom and manage labeling.
